Job Description:

- To increase the penetration of Automotive Aftermarket Products and exceed the sales forecast for the products in your territory
- To achieve annual sales operating plans
- To drive sales throughout the Transportation Industry by delivering strong head office promotional calendars
- To identify and prioritise market segment and alternative channel opportunities for Automotive Aftermarket Division Products – (May include Marine & Commercial Vehicle)
- Prepare and execute annual sales plan
- Foster strong relationships with key account contacts at head office level
- Support the execution of plans through AAD distribution network
- To take responsibility for other products/projects as required
- To spend 80% of territory time face to face with the end user customer
- Responsibility for a regional sales territory, which will include overnight travel
- Higher School Certificate or equivalent
- No specific tertiary qualifications required
- Cert III in Paint Technician or Panel Beater Technician preferred
- Minimum 2 years in a professional sales role; experience in industrial sales preferred
- Strong selling and key account management skills
- Proven track record of strong and consistent recent sales results
- High degree of computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Business acumen with strong verbal communication and excellent presentation skills
- Strong listening skills and attention to detail
- Confident in interactions with internal teams and external customers
- Problem-solving ability and resourceful innovation to meet customer requirements
- Knowledge of industrial products or terminology is an advantage
- Previous supervisory experience preferred, but a passion for developing this ability is essential
