What’s the role?

Reporting to the Monitoring and Testing Lead, you will be executing Monitoring and Testing activities to support Westpac in managing Compliance and Operational Risk.

You will effectively communicate and advise senior managementwith impactful and insightful independent opinions on regulatory risks and issues. You will be critically assessing business processes and identifying control weaknesses that affect risk management. Proactively collaborating with key stakeholders across three lines of defence for smooth delivery of review activities.

What do I need?

  • Broad understanding of regulatory requirements and financial services
  • Stakeholder management and conflict resolution.
  • Strong sense of accountability, good time management and project management skills
  • Ability to multi-task competing priorities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • A high level of proficiency and consistent achievement of impactful verbal and written communication.
