We are working in partnership with an Australian utility organisation for multiple Lead Platform Engineer opportunitiy.
About the role
You would be involved in:
- Management of the delivery, resource allocation and improvement of complex technical project capabilities using Agile/Scrum methodologies for planning, stand-ups, demos, retrospectives and the execution of sprints
- Lead the delivery of technical services to the platform team
- SAP Basis knowledge and understanding on SAP ISU/CRM and middleware technologies running in MS Azure.
- Management of vendor relations involved in technical projects to ensure they deliver according to agreed terms
- The role is responsibilities with involvement in Incident Management, Problem Management etc. within SAP Technical and Operational teams.
- Manage a team of onshore and offshore resources ensuring that the team is always running to capacity
- Technical design and decision making and ensure all SAP architecture and development standards are adhered to.
To be successful for the role, you would ideally be:
- Expert in designing and implementing SAP Landscape strategy to pave the path for a full CI-CD automation (Solution Manager, RevTrac/Charm etc.)
- Deep knowledge of hosting SAP Cloud solutions within AWS/MS Azure platforms.
- Deep understanding of cloud technologies, frameworks and cost models, preferrable Azure.
- Ability to lead technical teams or work independently as an integral team member or virtually, as required.
- Ability to influence stakeholders of varying levels of seniority.
