About the role

*Located in Sydney or Melbourne*

Reporting directly to the General Manager, Sales you will play an integral role in the delivery of the three-year strategic plan focusing on translating and implementing the sales strategy for ManpowerGroup to continually expand our national recruitment contracts, innovative workforce solutions and managed services for the Group Brands. This role will focus on targeting new business for ManpowerGroup as well as expanding the services offered to the existing ManpowerGroup client base by well-defined account management plans and initiatives.

Your key responsibilities:

People Management

  • Create an environment of continuous learning and personal development, building a strong organisational culture so we can deliver with speed and efficiency to our clients and candidates

Sales Leadership & Business Development

  • Establish sales and account plans for all targeted sectors
  • Work with targeted existing clients to identify and develop new business opportunities and manage the implementation of these using available resources
  • Build strong, and mutually beneficial relationships with sponsors and power sponsors in the C-Suite
  • Conduct workshop, presentations and negotiations with existing clients to achieve growth objectives

Financial Management

  • Achievement of sales objectives through effective management of resources and budgets
  • Return on sale objectives are achieved
  • Accurate monthly reporting and forecasting of any/all financial measures required

Account Management

  • Acquire business opportunities for service line expansion within existing accounts
  • Business networking to raise brand awareness
  • Oversee the development and execution of strategic account management plans and co-ordinate strategies for designated accounts
  • Regularly review and report on sales performance, forecasts and market trends with existing accounts
  • Assist account managers to ensure existing clients' expectations are met in terms of service delivery, quality, responsiveness, price and customer service

Process Management

  • Manage defined sales processes to actively expand existing accounts and to seek, win and develop additional identified opportunities. Ensure sales process is fully documented, and review all tender/negotiation completion to identify improvements for the future

Knowledge Transfer

  • Work with operational business units to understand sales strategy, process, the pipeline and roles and responsibilities in driving hypergrowth
  • Work with appropriate operational business units to help them take on delivery responsibility for 'won business' where you have expanded existing accounts
  • Participate in regular meetings and training events to generate a best practice sales culture across the organisation

Your Background

  • Significant sales or account management experience in the recruitment industry is essential
  • Strong market knowledge and developed network
  • Capability to introduce innovative HR solutions
  • Significant sales leadership experience
  • Understanding of financial data and reports - budgets, forecasting
  • Ability to influence and create strong stakeholder relationships internally & externally
