- Start: between October and December
- Support the Senior Actuarial Manager to perform end-to-end reserving work for various products
- Perform monthly BAU tasks and other actuarial analysis as required
- Be the ‘go-to person’ for data analysis and support to senior Actuarial professionals, enabling the team to provide meaningful insights to the business
- Continuously seek process improvement and be part of the QBE Actuarial modernisation journey
- Be involved in the development of a new automated reserving model, with the opportunity to apply and grow your technical skills in SQL and VBA
- You have obtained a tertiary qualification in actuarial studies, mathematics, statistics or equivalent relevant disciplines
- A keen interest in expanding on your Actuarial knowledge and looking to take the next step in your career with a leading global insurer known for providing career development and progression opportunities
- You have exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills and an ability to generate outside of the box creative solutions rather than following precedence
- You will also have strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and can utilise these to liaise with stakeholders at varying levels across the business to influence best practice outcomes
- While not essential, familiarity with SQL, VBA and Python would be advantageous
