Data Engineer

Job Title: Data Engineer - ETL Alteryx SME

Location: Victoria (Full time On-site)

Duration: 2-month contract (Potential Extension)

Security Clearance: Baseline clearance is mandatory NV1 clearance is highly desirable

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Alteryx Subject Matter Expert to support a short-term engagement You will be responsible for developing, reviewing, and troubleshooting Alteryx ETL workflows, ensuring alignment with data governance requirements and best-practice engineering standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in large-scale data integration projects and familiarity with healthcare data environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and optimise Alteryx ETL scripts following best practice software engineering principles.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and data verification standards.
• Collaborate with team members to support ETL-related project activities.
• Assist in identifying and resolving data quality and integration issues.
  
  

Required Experience & Skills

• Proven experience working with Alteryx Server in large-scale ETL projects (essential).
• Strong understanding of data management principles, including data modelling, ETL processes, and data quality assurance (essential).
• Experience with ETL processes in the healthcare domain (preferred).
• Familiarity with healthcare data standards and regulatory frameworks such as HL7, FHIR, HIPAA, and GDPR (preferred).
• Working knowledge of SQL, Java, and Python (preferred).
