The Role
Join Our Team as a Senior Technical Delivery Manager!
You will have the opportunity to work with various stakeholders to gather, understand and validate project requirements to support successful project delivery and ensure that they are clearly understood by the project and technical delivery team, including Solution Architects, Technical Delivery Managers and Service Owners. You will analyse and document system functional and non-functional requirements and additionally translate technical requirements into project delivery requirements.
The role will work with various stakeholders to analyse and synthesise information, understand organisational objectives, coordinate and complete business analysis activities. This includes eliciting, documenting and managing stakeholder business requirements throughout the delivery and project lifecycle as well as providing overall support to the Program/Portfolio Managers and the project delivery team as a whole. Initially this position will be aligned to the Argon and Isotope programs which are critical global programs.

A day in the life of an Senior Technical Delivery Manager at Toll Group:
- Successful Delivery of Strategic Programs/Projects: Accountable for delivering key global programs/projects within required timeframes and aligning with business outcomes.
- Project Lifecycle Management: Plan, control, and manage the delivery of business and technology projects over the full project lifecycle (design, build, test, deployment, and operational handover).
- Alignment and Decision-Making: Align project schedules with enterprise-level timelines, manage dependencies, and define decision-making processes to influence strategic decisions and drive outcomes.
- Resource and Risk Management: Manage internal and external resources efficiently, resolve conflicts, optimize allocation, and evaluate aggregated risks across multiple projects, advising on mitigation strategies.
- Governance and Quality Management: Apply appropriate project governance, manage quality and timeliness of deliverables, and ensure delivery of post-implementation reviews and health checks.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Performance Reporting: Develop strategies for stakeholder engagement, manage change initiatives, and establish performance monitoring systems, providing high-level reports to executives.
About You:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science information technology or a related discipline. A masters in the same would be well regarded
- PMP / PMI / PRINCE2 /PMBOK or equivalent certification desirable
- IT Planning and Delivery: Demonstrable track record of successfully contributing to the delivery of complex, large scale IT projects. Planning and conducting workshops to translate business requirements in to a 'fit for purpose' solution. Understanding of business case development and benefits realization.
- People and Vendor Management: Experience working with 3rd party IT providers and/or system integrators.
- Proven direct experience in either Agile and Waterfall project methodologies and SDLC processes.
- Demonstrated experience in business process re-engineering and business requirements analysis.
- Financial understanding including Capex / Opex knowledge, business case development and benefits realisation.
- Experience with techniques such as use case analysis, data/process flow diagramming, process mapping and detailed business and functional requirements documentation.
- Working in an offshore environment
