- Animal Supervision & Husbandary - Ensuring enclosures ahve adequate supply of fresh, clean water
- Animal Welfare - Protect dogs from distress or injury caused by other dogs
- Providing outstanding customer service, welcoming clients at the door & transfer dogs to the appropriate play enclosure
- Developing & maintaining strong working and client relationships
- Preparation of the play enclosures to suit the volume of dogs
- Cleaning & maintenance of all areas
- Clearing away of animal waste, clean, disinfect and look after animal play areas
- Bathe and groom animals
- Preparation of food (including special diets), transfer animals to feeding areas, and ensure adequate rest after feeding
- Clean and prepare comfortable sleeping quarters for animals
- Report serious health problems to Manager & adhere our OSH procedures and processes
- Maintain accurate animal records
- Experience in a similar role or working with animals is an advantage but not essential
- Individuals who treat our canine clients ethically and with the utmost respect
- A love of animals, with strong commitment to your clients and Petstock
- A commitment to work safely & adhere to our health & safety policies
- Physically fit as you may be dealing with heavy dog clients and lifting stock up to 20kgs
- Ability to be flexible in order to meet changing work conditions
- Ability to prioritise and manage conflicting priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to build and maintain strong working & client relationships
- Strong attention to detail
