We have 13 offices across Victoria and New South Wales and employ over 400 staff.
With a large variety of projects, we are seeking a Licensed Surveyor with a minimum of 5 years’ relevant industry experience to join our team in Geelong.
As a Senior Surveyor in this role you will be involved in:
- Undertaking Cadastral and Re-establishment Surveys
- Compiling Survey plans
- Subdivisions
- Lease area surveys
- Providing Geodetic and local survey control
- Asset Recording – sewer, water and A-Spec
- Feature and Level surveys
- Engineering surveys – Engineering / Building set out, monitoring volume surveys, level and estate control
- Drafting and checking cadastral and survey plans
- Financial monitoring and management of large projects
- Liaise with Clients/Councils as appropriate to ensure sound project management
- Preparation of planning and certification submissions to Council
- Preparation and supply of documentation to Land Registry
- To advise the Engineer or appropriate Manager of any problems encountered in obtaining information
- Liaise with existing and potential clients
- Reviewing workload and resourcing
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5 years’ minimum experience in land surveying
- Degree or relevant Qualification in Surveying, Bachelor of Surveying would be advantageous
- Excellent customer service skills
- Effective time management skills
- Ability to communicate and negotiate at different levels
- Ability to use a range of computer software applications relevant to the role
- Strong service ethic and high level of integrity
