What this job involves:

We are seeking an experienced Account Director to optimise the performance of the Australia wide portfolio under management including pursuing new business strategies, maximising lease and rental negotiations, timely and accurate reporting to clients, coordinate priorities and provision of backup / support to Direct Reports and their teams. Delivery of exceptional performance levels in accordance with the PMA’s and KPIs.

The Account Director will provide proactive recommendations to our clients to assist to deliver positive financial and market outcomes for them by having a thorough understanding of the Industrial property market and the Property and Asset Management Business Line.

A snapshot of the role:

  • Develop personal understanding of client goals and use your best endeavours to achieve these goals in accordance with JLL and our clients recognized operating, reporting, accounting and other general procedures.
  • Obtain a thorough knowledge of the JLL Property Management Agreements and ensure their implementation across the portfolio.
  • Direct staff in the preparation of Budgets, Forecasts, Business Plans and day to day operating strategies to enhance client service delivery.
  • In conjunction with the Head of PAM set departmental and team objectives and supervise the achievement of those objectives.

Sound like you? This is what we’re looking for:

  • Property Degree or similar industry training.
  • Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in Industrial Property with sound understanding of property management and industrial markets.
  • Able to set objectives and measurable goals, motivate team to achieve them.
  • Ability to make informed decisions in the best interests of JLL, commercially and ethically.
  • Experience in coaching and developing employees and provide regular feedback and guidance.
  • Gain respect of JLL people, clients, and where appropriate with the broader business community.
  • Ensure regular contact with all Clients to ensure service delivery requirement are being met.
