We are looking for Senior Business Analysts to join our Stores Technology team, where we are dedicated to enhancing the capabilities of our hand-held devices, optimizing inventory levels, and creating a seamless experience for both customers and staff.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyzing requirements for Digital Stores initiatives.
• Defining and document technical user stories and tasks across the end-to-end ecosystem, including UI, BFF, microservices, and backend systems.
• Working closely with Product Owner and business users to document detailed requirements
• Collaborating with Iteration Managers to ensure delivery team is running smoothly and efficiently
• Joining forces with Tech Leads to ensure solutions designed are fit for purpose and align with business expectations
• Leveraging your experience as Senior Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions.
• Applying your inquisitive nature to explore and understand complex business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Contributing to the development of mobile and web applications, ensuring they align with business objectives and user needs.
• Working closely with stakeholders to understand retail processes, identifying areas for efficiency improvements and enhanced customer experiences.
• Utilizing your strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Applying your cloud expertise, particularly in AWS, to contribute to the scalability and reliability of our systems.
  
  
  

To be successful in this role you’ll have:

• Experience working as a Senior level Business Analyst in previous roles.
• Proven experience with mobile and web application development.
• Experience in process and systems mapping tools.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• An inquisitive nature, always seeking to understand and improve business processes.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence and diagramming tools.
• Experience defining and documenting technical user stories and tasks across the end-to-end ecosystem (UI, BFF, microservices, backend, etc.).
• Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and skills.
• Cloud or AWS experience, contributing to the scalability and reliability of systems.
• Technical experience with SQL and a good understanding of AWS basics (SQS, RDS) would be nice-to-have, but not essential.
• Retail industry experience would be desirable but not necessary.
• Demonstrated SQL proficiency for data analysis and reporting. (nice to have)
