Role Overview:

Our growing client base means that we are looking for an enthusiastic learning & development specialist who is ready to take on new challenges in the key areas of instructional design and facilitation, to deliver customised and impactful development programs both in Australia and abroad.


In the role of Client Partner, you will design, facilitate and manage innovative and engaging learning programs that are tailored to our clients’ unique needs. This may require infrequent travel to facilitate workshops within Australia.


You will also collaborate across the Fusion team to support the strategic goals of the company and our client base.


The role of Client Partner sits within our Development team, and reports to the Design & Delivery Lead - Development.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with our lead designers and facilitators to design engaging and contextualised workshop materials that align to client objectives.
  • Facilitate impactful workshops, both in person and virtually, across a wide range of development topics.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients across a wide range of industries, both public and private, in support of their respective early talent program strategies.
  • Complete relevant administrative tasks to ensure smooth workshop delivery, including email, calendar and records management.
  • Contribute to Fusion team training and other internal projects and deliverables as required.


To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • 2-5 years experience (ideal candidate) in learning and development, to demonstrate a knowledge of appropriate learning solutions, navigate the complexity of client needs, and support innovation.
  • Facilitation experience, to deliver impactful and engaging workshops.
  • Experience in instructional design, to present a high-quality and customised experience that meets client objectives and delivers long-term impact to their early talent program participants.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, to foster relationships, provide an exceptional service to our clients, and manage their ongoing needs, and support the success of their early talent program/s.
  • High attention to detail, to deliver a consistent and quality offering to our clients.
  • Curiosity and a growth mindset, to bring innovative thinking and a continuous improvement approach to our client delivery offering and your own skills.
  • Initiative and accountability, to lead individual and team deliverables in a timely manner.
  • Flexibility, to thrive in a hybrid team-based environment where you can adapt to changing internal and client priorities.
  • Interest in early talent development, to become an specialist in the early talent industry.
