About The Role
We are seeking a values-driven Case Worker Reporting to the Doorways Regional Manager, this is a Permanent full time role, located in Hurtsville NSW.
You will successfully
- Conduct assessments and develop case plans in line with TSA’s mission and values, ensuring active, priority-focused case plans.
- Handle a caseload of 15-20 community members, with data entered into SAMIS within one week, following privacy and legal requirements.
- Build a network of services, ensuring appropriate referrals and connecting with services to benefit community members.
- Maintain supportive, ethical relationships with community members according to the TSA Code of Conduct.
- Engage in supervision, case reviews, and professional development to improve personal practice and program outcomes.
- Contribute to team activities, fostering supportive relationships and enhancing team effectiveness.
- A minimum qualification of Diploma in Community Services Work or a related field
- Demonstrated experience in case work or community support, particularly with complex needs and financial hardship
- An understanding of case work practice, cultural diversity, and relevant legislation impacting community service delivery
- A current First Aid Certificate or preparedness to obtain before commencement
- A working knowledge of case management software and Microsoft Office programs
- Flexibility: The ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
