We are seeking suitable applications from highly capable and values-driven Clinical Nurses to join our dynamic team on Ward G62 at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital (SCGH). Ward G62 is a 24 bed acute surgical ward, specialising in Cardiothoracic, Vascular, and Urology with 4 beds assigned to a Cardiothoracic High Dependency Unit. We are seeking to appoint qualified, motivated individuals who have recent extensive experience in the areas of speciality to provide a high standard of clinical care and leadership.
What is our Clinical Nurse role?
This position, under the direction of the relevant Senior Registered Nurse(s) practises as a Clinical Nurse in keeping with the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Board Registration Standards and Nursing Practice Decision Making Flowchart; provides advanced, comprehensive and evidence-based nursing care to patients as part of a multidisciplinary team; upholds and functions within the core values of the organisation of Care, Respect, Innovation, Teamwork & Integrity; acts as a role model, providing leadership, support, team building and change management through respect, recognition and collaboration.

Located at the Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre 4km from Perth city centre, SCGH provides a comprehensive range of clinical services including trauma, emergency and critical care, orthopaedics, general medicine, general surgery, and cardiac care. It is home to WA's only comprehensive cancer centre - the largest cancer treatment centre in the State - and is the State's principal hospital for neurosurgery and liver transplants.
