About The Role

We are seeking a values-driven Client Services Coordinator. This position helps to lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality services to young people aged 12–24 across the Frankston Mornington Peninsula region. They ensure contracted outcomes are met, contribute to funding reports, and support consistent practice aligned with the Psychologically Informed Environment framework.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, this is a permanent, full-time role, located in Frankston, Victoria.

You will have;

  • The ability to provide client-focused supervision, leadership, and coordination of staff to ensure high-quality, consistent service delivery across all Youth Services Peninsula sites.
  • To ensure all Youth Services programs align with the Journey to Independence model and Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE) framework.
  • Oversights of program operations including staff caseload allocation, direct client work during peak times, and participation in the after-hours on-call roster if required.
  • To monitor and manage resources such as material aid and brokerage support for clients.
  • To collaborate with other Client Services Coordinators and the Programme Manager to maintain consistent practices and budget compliance.
  • The ability to build and maintain partnerships with community and agency stakeholders, integrating local programs with state-wide Youth Services.
  • To identify and escalate risks, and support ongoing service improvement through data analysis, monitoring, evaluation, and innovation.
  • Work across all Youth Services sites, including Playne St and accommodation centres, to ensure integrated support services.

You will have

  • A minimum degree qualification in social work, social sciences or related field is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in the management and leadership of staff.
  • Knowledge and experience in staff supervision.
  • Experience and competency in delivering case management practice within a homeless service setting.
  • Well-written verbal and IT communication skill
  • Experience: Previous experience in youth work, social services, education, or a related field is preferred.
  • Empathy: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with youth from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent organisation and administrative skills with capacity to balance workload, determine priorities and meet deadlines while also managing the needs of client crisis assistance requirements.
  • A national criminal history check is required prior to commencement.
  • Victoria Working with Children check is required prior to commencement.
  • A current driver’s license.
