Help lead the team at our Gordon Lodge facility in Bull Creek. As an Enrolled Nurse with RAAFA, you will join a team of professionals in providing the excellent quality of care for which we are known, aligning with our values of Respect, Care and Honesty for both our residents and colleagues. Responsible for providing care and support to our residents in accordance to their care plans, as an Enrolled Nurse, you will work in conjunction with the Registered Nurse and Clinical Care Manager to organise the delegation of workload in caring for residents and be responsible for developing meaningful relationships with them.

Gordon Lodge is a refurbished 62 bed Residential Care Centre located in the heart of AFME village in Bull Creek. The lodge offers permanent, respite and secure dementia care. Gordon Lodge has 51 single rooms with en-suites and a secure 11 bed wing for people living with dementia that has single bedrooms and shared bathrooms.

- Contribute to the assessment, development and review of resident care plans.
- Provide care and support to residents under the supervision of the Registered Nurse or Clinical Care Manager.
- Identify, document and report on resident wellbeing and any change in status.
- Update residents’ records as appropriate and in line with current legislation.
- Contribute to assessing the effectiveness of nursing care to achieve outcomes for residents.
- Perform specialised clinical nursing tasks within the scope of practice of an Enrolled Nurse.
- Undertaking other tasks as directed by the Residential Aged Care Management Team or Senior Management Staff working within the facility.

About You
- Eligible for registration with the Western Australian Nurses Registration Board as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Knowledge and understanding of the role and scope of work undertaken by an Enrolled Nurse.
- The ability to work autonomously as well as contribute to a multi-disciplinary team that has a people centered focus of care.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated time management and organisational skills.
- Advanced decision making and problem solving skills.
- An understanding of the Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
- Enjoy building positive relationships with residents, their families and staff.

- Satisfactory National Police Certificate (on commencement of employment to be within six months from date of issue) or willing to obtain one;
