At Coates, our Sales Administrators play a highly valued role managing a wide range of administrative tasks that are critical to the success of our sales team. Reporting to the Business Unit Sales Manager, you’ll provide essential support that enables our sales team to focus on delivering exceptional customer service while driving revenue and profitability.


You’ll enjoy variety in your role including:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the sales team, ensuring smooth operations and efficient workflow
  • Assist in preparing professional customer proposals and tender documentation with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Manage the contract approval process, from coordinating internal sign-offs to tracking status and ensuring proper document storage
  • Maintain accurate customer records, track tender activity, and support regular sales reporting

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Highly organised, efficient and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with a “can do” attitude
  • Excellent written communication skills & high attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously and maintain confidentiality
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite – MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • A background in Sales or supporting a Sales or Marketing team is highly desirable
