As a Junior Finance Officer, you will play a key role in delivery of monthly financial reports and oversee Accounts Payable Process. Additionally, you will uphold compliance with internal guidelines and external financial regulations while supporting the smooth operation of the broader Finance team.

Key Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process and pay all invoices, both domestic and international, within established timelines.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of vendor accounts, following up on and resolving any issues including E-commerce register accounts at month-end.
  • Manage the Accounts Payable inbox and ensure timely document filing.
  • Reconcile bank statements on schedule and post corresponding general ledger entries.
  • Maintain and reconcile Cash Sales
  • Regularly review and update relevant policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Support the Finance team with other administrative and financial tasks as required.
  • Set up and maintain vendor and customer records.

As The Ideal Candidate:

  • You should be able to work autonomously, with a willingness to take initiative and contribute actively to team tasks.
  • You must have a good understanding of accounting standards and financial procedures.
  • You must have strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; comfortable working with spreadsheets.
  • Experienced with finance or general ledger software systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to explain financial concepts clearly.

Qualifications And Experience:

  • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Between 1 to 3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
  • A mix of education, hands-on experience, and professional development that demonstrates the required competencies.
