Operational Technology Technician

The Role & Project

MACA are seeking an Operational Technology Technician to join the team in a permanent full-time role on an 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth to Karlawinda.

The Karlawinda Gold Project is located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, 65km south-east of Newman.

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will

• Trade or technical qualification with mechanical or electrical background required and 5 years minimum industry relevant Operational Technology experience.
• Experience with the installation and management of mining OT systems, including HPGPS, Fleet Management, Collision Avoidance, Payload Management or Fatigue Monitoring.
• Relevant experience will also be accepted in lieu of qualifications (i.e. demonstrates 10+ years’ experience)
• Strong understanding of Networking principles and OT network engineering.
• Ability to demonstrate up to date knowledge and theory across current industry technology trends.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills.
• Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills with people at all levels.
