Primary Objective: Gillen Primary School is situated on 18 acres in the township of Alice Springs. The school was established in 1970. As a member of the school administration team and under the direction of the Principal/ Business Manager, the Maintenance Officer is required to play a key role in ensuring the high standard of grounds maintenance, security, safety and presentation associated with the day-to-day physical condition of the school and assets. The Maintenance Officer is also required to maintain school vehicles, to provide a safe and secure learning environment at Gillen Primary School. They will be required to manage the significant amount of equipment and tools owned by the school for the purpose of carrying out this role.
