THE ROLE


The Reception Services Supervisor is responsible for the implementation of service delivery consistent with the requirements of the information Privacy Act 2000 (Vic), the Health Records Act 2001 (Vic) the Charter of Human Rights and Responsibilities Act (2006) and the Clients Charter. The role plays a key part in the planning and implementation of new service delivery models.

The position requires the individual to be solution focused, passionate about delivering quality services to both clients and internal staff, have experience working in training and project management and will be given the opportunity to build upon these skills in a dynamic and supportive professional development environment.

The position collaborates extensively across the Area and Division, to improve clients service, by reviewing and establishing client-focused protocols, systems and training. This position works with the area senior leadership team to ensure administration support meets the needs of the area


ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE


  • Effectively manage and improve office processes and maintain corporate information systems for records management, financial information, fleet management, client payments and ministerial correspondence as required.
  • Supporting a small team by leading, role modelling and supporting staff to achieve their potential while maximising their contribution and outcomes. Resolve operational problems and issues being experienced by team members.
  • Maintain effective working relationships, liaise efficiently and professionally with all levels of staff in relation to meeting client needs.
