We’re looking to complete our team and are currently accepting applications for the role of Senior People & Culture Advisor. This role provides high quality skill in supporting leaders and employees in our Stores across the employment life cycle, with a particular emphasis on Employee Relations. About the role

Reporting to our People & Culture Advisory Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing timely and strong Employee Relations support across stores, head office, and distribution centres.
  • Building strong relationships with leaders and employees to foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Offering advisory support on workplace matters, including case management, performance concerns, and employee grievances.
  • Coaching leaders on best-practice responses, workplace investigations, disciplinary processes, and fair decision-making.
  • Leading Advisors as required, acting as a point of escalation.
  • Drafting formal communications that uphold integrity and compliance in employment relations.
  • Navigating employment legislation, Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and company policies to ensure workplace compliance.
  • Identifying and implementing strategies to improve Employee Relations practices and workplace culture.
  • Supporting initiatives that enhance workplace fairness, employee engagement, and conflict resolution processes.
  • Occasional local or interstate travel may be required to provide direct support and strengthen stakeholder relationships.



About you

As a Senior People & Culture Advisor with a strong foundation and passion for Employee Relations, you will bring:

  • A bachelor degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Management, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in Employee Relations, including end to end case management and workplace dispute resolution.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach, with a commitment to fostering fair and compliant employment practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment legislation, workplace agreements, and industrial relations frameworks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, ensuring timely management of employee concerns.
  • The confidence to guide leaders through complex Employee Relations matters, influencing compliant, fair and informed decisions that mitigate risk and account for commercial impact.
  • Tech-savvy with strong digital literacy.
  • Experience in retail, pharmaceutical, or service-based industries (ideal but not essential).
