Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and maintain quality management systems related to primary care
  • Monitor, interpret, and report on key health data to drive service improvements
  • Manage and coordinate Red Lily’s outreach services and support multidisciplinary teams
  • Develop and implement clinical systems that support chronic disease management and health screening
  • Promote Aboriginal Health Practitioners as first-line care providers
  • Drive accreditation activities and continuous quality improvement initiatives
  • Manage human and physical resources, budgets, and Medicare processes
  • Support workforce development through orientation, mentoring, and professional development programs

Essential

About You

  • Registered Nurse with AHPRA and relevant postgraduate qualification
  • Extensive experience in Remote Area Nursing and multidisciplinary team management
  • Strong understanding of Aboriginal health issues, cultural safety, and social determinants of health
  • Expertise in interpreting health data and leading quality improvement activities
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, problem-solving, and IT communication skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel to remote communities by air and road
  • Current Police Check and Ochre Card (or ability to obtain)
  • Full Australian working rights

Desirable

  • Postgraduate qualifications in Public Health, Primary Health Care, or related fields
  • Additional certifications in Child Health, Emergency, Midwifery, or Mental Health
  • Business-related qualifications
  • Knowledge of Northern Territory health legislation and policy framework
