Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Technical & Innovation team in Castlemaine, Victoria.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in safely and efficiently managing and delivering infrastructure projects to approved scope, quality, schedule, and budget. Reporting to the Projects & Engineering Manager, you will lead project teams, ensure compliance, and drive successful project outcomes.

Location and Travel Requirements:

• Base location: Castlemaine Water Treatment Plant
• Regular travel to Bendigo and Kyneton sites as required
• Occasional travel to Melbourne (Southbank) as required

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and lead project teams, fostering strong working relationships with stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are delivered according to the Veolia ANZ Project Management Framework and statutory requirements.
• Manage change processes, ensuring alignment across Technical, Commercial, SHEQ, Legal, Operations, and Finance.
• Methodically assess and report on project progress, identifying and resolving deficiencies.
• Prepare Statements of Requirements, scope of works, specifications, work-plans, and cost estimates.
• Administer contracts and manage contractors, ensuring supply chain efficiency.
• Identify and manage project risks, ensuring safety in design and compliance with regulations.
• Manage commissioning activities and ensure smooth handover to Operations.
• Provide accurate budget and cash flow forecasts, ensuring commercial success.

What We're Looking For:

• Degree in Engineering or Project Management.
• Experience managing infrastructure projects over $1M
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
