Our dynamic and fast paced operation is based in Preston, and we are now seeking a Digital Design Lead to join the team. The primary focus and responsibilities of this role are to drive the design and direction of the EDM and online marketing initiatives, manage and prioritise the digital design backlog and oversee and champion digital design systems and templates.
About the role
- Design Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of digital designers, providing guidance, mentorship, and feedback to ensure high-quality design work and the professional growth of team members.
- EDM Strategy: Align with relevant stakeholders to define and execute on the EDM strategy
- Digital Design: Oversee the design of digital marketing materials and EDMs, ensuring consistency in branding and messaging. Manage and deliver on all online campaigns. Manage stakeholder and resourcing requirements. Oversee and champion digital design systems and templates.
- Customer Experience: Conduct testing and translate research findings into design
- Visual Branding: Ensure that all digital marketing materials adhere to the company's brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity across various digital channels.
- Performance Analysis: Evaluate the performance of digital marketing materials and make data-driven design decisions to improve click-through rates, conversion rates, and other key performance metrics.
About you
- Experience with design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
- Good working knowledge of Content Management systems
- Familiar with photography and photoshoots
- Creativity and attention to detail
- Highly organised and with an ability to prioritise and multitask
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to make major decisions
