About the Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Aerodrome Reporting Officer (ARO) Lead to join the team at one of our villages in South Australia flying out of Adelaide.

This senior ARO role has a significant safety component and includes inspecting the aerodrome and reporting hazards as well as leadership and supervision of the onsite ARO team. You’ll be required to utilize your industry knowledge to further and improve the onsite Aerodrome delivery and service.

Essential Requirements

  • Aerodrome Reporting/Safety Officer Certificate ARO/WSO
  • Aeronautical Radio Operator Certificate (AROC)
  • Drivers Licence
  • NJE ASO
  • NJE Trainer
  • VIVA Refueller
  • VIVA Trainer
  • GD Awareness/Acceptance
  • Diploma of Aviation (Aviation Management)
  • Airport Service Officer, ramp, Check in (ASO)
  • DH8D (Q400) Ground handling
  • Airline trainer ramp + Check in
  • Airline leading hand (Desirable)
  • Lead ARO & or AD Manager (AIP responsible person)
  • Aircraft Refueling experience
  • Dangerous Goods training
  • Customer Service
  • CASA Regulations Experience, understanding of all requirements of being a compliant airfield.
  • NOTAM Experience
  • Flight regulatory Paperwork
  • Airline and CASA Auditing process
