The Guardsman is an immersive South Australian brand. The recently renovated 'Dining Hall' has become one of Adelaide's favourite gastro eateries, located in the iconic Adelaide Railway Station. The ideal location for morning coffee, Friday knock-offs, functions and events, game day celebrations and everything in between!

This renowned establishment is looking for an Assistant Manager to support the wonderful management team on a permanent, full-time basis.

What does the role look like?

As the Assistant Manager, you will work closely with and support the Venue Manager in the daily business operations, leading from the front to develop and nurture your team to promote exceptional service delivery, ensuring complete guest satisfaction, in turn, maximising value and financial returns for the business. You will also be responsible for staff rostering, recruitment needs, performance management and cost control.

What you will look like?

You will have passion for the hospitality industry and customer service and thrive working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will possess extensive product knowledge and have prior leadership experience in a busy pub or restaurant, either locally, interstate or overseas. A commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences is crucial. Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, is required, with some flexibility needed for event days.
