What You’ll Do:


As the National Business Manager you will:


Make a difference: Lead and accelerate long-term growth & sustainable profitability improvement of the Independent Hardware Group for Australia. The role owns the Sales strategy and performance for all categories, being the owner of the Fastener categories while supporting to deliver the KPI’s with other key categories.


Innovate and solve problems: Deliver on budgeted volume, revenue, and margin targets. Based on BU strategic intent and value proposition own the development of Sales and Customer Account Management Strategy that informs priorities, annual and long-range plans to reliably deliver segment revenue, organic growth & operating income objectives.


Collaborate: Maintaining a collaborative working relationship with the customer to drive improved engagement, efficiency, and value creation for both parties. leverage an intimate understanding of the market segment (market, channel, end user) to defend and grow share through continuous improvement of product and BU value propositions.


Continuous Improvement: Lead, coach and mentor team members to achieve individual and collective targets internally and with our customers. And demonstrate the responsibility for role modelling ITW’s Culture & Values Leadership.



What You'll Bring:


  • Strong strategic capability & business acumen
  • Track record in driving sustainable business growth as and delivery of sales targets in a National Account Manager or equivalent role.
  • Knows how to collaborate, build & leverage influential relationships across functions/ business/ global resources to deliver positive outcomes
  • Natural ‘80/20 leader identifies, simplifies & focuses to deliver ‘80s’, does ‘20s’ differently
  • Flexible Location – VIC or NSW
