What Your Day Will Look Like….
As an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioner, your day will be filled with meaningful interactions and impactful work. You'll start by connecting with clients, assessing their health needs, and providing tailored care and advice. Throughout the day, you'll collaborate with other health professionals to deliver comprehensive healthcare programs and ensure continuity of care. You'll engage with community members, offering health education and promoting wellness initiatives. Your role will also involve supporting your colleagues by sharing cultural insights and helping them navigate community customs. Darling Downs Health's (DDH) region is a large geographic area covering approximately 90,000 square kilometres across Southeast Queensland.
