Reporting to the facility manager, you will monitor and maintain thermal and soil washing plants, performing regular patrols, equipment maintenance, and process improvements at our state of the art soil treatment facility.

What you'll be responsible for

• Monitor thermal and soil washing plant operations through regular patrols, reporting observations to the Control Room Operator
• Perform general plant assembly, disassembly, and maintenance work, including preventative and unscheduled maintenance tasks
• Monitor and maintain process equipment, including conveyor belt tracking, bearing condition, and scheduled lubrication
• Assist with capital works projects and additional tasks such as soil sampling as required
• Operate mobile plant and other equipment as per qualifications and site management requirements
• Adhere to safety protocols, including proper use of PPE, and apply risk management skills to ensure safety, quality, and environmental compliance
  
  

What you'll need to be successful

• Experience in working in a process or chemical plant environment
• Machinery fitter experience/qualification (desirable)
• Boiler making qualification (desirable)
• Elevating work platforms (EWP) ticket for working at height (training can be provided if required)
• Confined space entry ticket (training can be provided if required)
• Prepared to be trained in and operate mobile plant such (Front End Loader, Excavator, Water Cart) as required
