Workforce Plus is looking for a passionate Trainer & Business Development Officer to deliver accredited and non-accredited training, grow NDIS-funded programs, and build strong community partnerships in Alice Springs.

About The Role

This diverse and rewarding role involves:

  • Delivering engaging training programs such as Certificate I in Workplace Skills, Career Transition Assistance (CTA), and employability skills
  • Supporting people to build confidence, social connections, and job-readiness
  • Expanding social and capacity-building activities funded through the NDIS
  • Growing participant numbers through community outreach and partnerships
  • Promoting Workforce Plus programs through local networks and events
  • Identifying opportunities to grow services and secure funding
  • Maintaining accurate participant records and contributing to program reporting

What You’ll Bring

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or willingness to obtain
  • Experience delivering accredited or non-accredited training
  • Understanding of the NDIS and working with people with disability
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and organisational skills
  • A commitment to inclusive, culturally aware, and person-centred practice
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
