About the opportunity

We are seeking passionate and motivated administrative officers to join the Patient Services Team in Maternity Reception who understand the importance of high quality admin support and person centred care in a dynamic environment. These roles are responsible for the efficient operation of the administrative duties involved in the patient journey on the wards. You are required to provide support to other team members and actively participate in key activities of Werribee Mercy Hospital.

  • Permanent part time
  • 0.8 EFT - 4 shifts per week
  • Includes AM shifts on weekdays and weekend PM & a night shift
  • HS1 Classification

  • Experience working in a customer facing, fast paced and dynamic environment (essential)
  • Experience working in a hospital (desirable)
  • Strong person centred focus and excellent conflict resolution skills
  • Experience with iPM or similar patient management systems (desirable)
  • Demonstrated administrative and, Microsoft Office skills.
  • A motivated and “can-do” attitude with the ability to learn quickly and go the extra mile

Requirements:

  • A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
