About The Role

Are you a Consultant, Senior or Associate level Environmental Consultant with 5 to 15 years' demonstrated experience, seeking an opportunity to join a growing team? Be part of our passionate team and deliver a growing and varied pipeline of exciting projects.

Across Australia, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with our experienced and multi-disciplinary Assessments & Approvals teams at all levels of the company, with opportunities to enhance your professional network with our national team and clients and contribute to some of the most exciting project approvals in the country.

You will support, manage and/or deliver assessment and approvals projects for our clients, including the preparation of proposals, referral and approval documentation, report writing, internal reviews, schedule and budget management and subcontractor and client liaison.

Tasks And Responsibilities

  • Support or manage the delivery of high-quality approval applications and technical reports to support environmental and planning approval requirements for a range of small to large scale projects, with a variety of clients and sectors.
  • Prepare deliverables such as proposals, referrals and statutory approvals documentation.
  • Schedule, budget and project management.
  • Liaison with subcontractors and clients.
  • Work closely with State and Commonwealth regulatory agencies.

About You

  • Demonstrated experience in environmental assessments and approvals, ideally, but not essentially gained in a consulting environment
  • Relevant tertiary education in environmental science, planning, law, or similar.
  • Excellent relationship building skills and proven ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work manage deadlines, budgets and quality of work.
  • Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • A fun and positive outlook who enjoys collaborative working.
  • You will be required to undertake a satisfactory police clearance if you are successful in this position.

In addition, you must be willing to obtain a police check and pre-employment medical if you are successful in this position.
