You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our data pipelines, data integrations, and analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Validate large and complex ETL/ELT processes using tools like Apache Airflow, Talend, and AWS Glue.
• Apply data profiling, data lineage tracking, and automated testing frameworks to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Write complex SQL queries for data validation and analysis.
• Work with various databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and SQL Server.
• Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive testing artefacts such as test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure alignment with delivery methods and end-user requirements.
• Independently address and resolve data quality issues and process inefficiencies.
• Participate in capability uplift initiatives including training, coaching, and paired learning.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Test Engineer or similar role.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes and Cloud platforms.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Experience in designing and maintaining data-focused testing artefacts.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
