You’ll play a key role in supporting high-level executive operations—managing correspondence, reporting, and governance processes. This dynamic position involves engaging with senior stakeholders, coordinating requests, preparing briefing materials, maintaining key registers, supporting HR and procurement activities, and organising travel. About The Role

As the Senior Project Officer, you will provide essential administrative and executive support to the Deputy Director-General (DDG) and Executive Manager within the Lands Division. In this dynamic role, you will coordinate responses to Cabinet, parliamentary, and business reporting requests, manage briefing materials and agendas, and ensure compliance with departmental and ministerial standards. Your strong organisational skills and attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining smooth operations and driving the division's strategic priorities forward.

You will be responsible for managing correspondence, supporting research tasks, and liaising with both internal and external stakeholders. By developing effective working relationships and ensuring the timely flow of information, you'll play a key role in supporting the DDG and Executive Manager with their strategic and operational needs. Additionally, you will maintain governance registers, coordinate domestic travel, and provide HR, procurement, and resource management support, working in consultation with specialist teams.

What We're Looking For

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, adaptable professional with strong communication and organisational skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Experience in the use of the Ministerial and Executive Correspondence System (MECS), Microsoft Teams, and the Microsoft Office Suite will be highly regarded.
