The Project
ACCIONA has been selected to deliver Western Harbour Tunnel - Stage 2, Sydney's third harbour crossing. The new Western Harbour Tunnel (WHT) will connect to WestConnex at the Rozelle Interchange, cross underneath Sydney Harbour between Birchgrove and Waverton, and connect with the Warringah Freeway near North Sydney.
Project scope includes:
- Construction of approximately 4.8 kilometres of mainline tunnels with three lanes in each direction
- Civil, Mechanical and Electrical fitout of Stage 1 and Stage 2 tunnels
- Surface level work, including on and off ramps and tie-in work to the Warringah Freeway
In line with the above, ACCIONA are now looking for a Receptionist/Office Assistant to join the Administration team. Reporting to the Executive Assistant at our project office in North Sydney, this role will be required to…
Specific Tasks Include
- Meet and greet all visitors and stakeholders and ensuring visitors sign in on arrival in the reception area.
- Managing meeting rooms (set up; cleaning and attending to clients), including booking conference rooms for meetings and ensuring refreshments are available before meetings start.
- Overseeing the maintenance of the office facilities & office equipment. Coordinate with IT support on technical issues
- Managing office supplies, ordering stationery and staff amenities when required
- Support with the execution of email distribution lists, contact details
- Perform general office duties such as filing, scanning, and data entry
- Answering general queries in person, by telephone, or email, directing them when necessary and taking messages.
- Assist management/office support team with the coordination of office events and functions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliability and punctuality, a high level of initiative, organisation, and time management skills.
- Maintain a clean and organized office environment
- Action any other ad-hoc office duties and providing general administration assistance to greater office team where required
Qualifications and Experience
- Prior experience in an administrative or customer service role preferred
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal
- Competence in using MS Outlook and MS Office suite - (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Be a reliable and flexible team player with a 'can do' attitude
