SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting and maintaining all operating equipment and bowling lanes.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties: (Specific areas of responsibility including, but not limited to)

  • Follows preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Clears malfunctions, making adjustments and repairs as necessary.
  • Repairs and maintains all operating equipment as needed.
  • Maintains housekeeping for pit and shop as needed.
  • Performs pin maintenance and cleaning as needed.
  • Maintains records of malfunctions, repairs, adjustments and parts used, as directed.
  • Monitors daily cleaning and conditioning of lanes as directed.
  • Adheres to Black Oak Casino and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Must possess a high school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years as bowling assistant mechanic experience preferred.
  • Should have working knowledge of pinsetter and automatic scoring devices.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with all Team Members.
  • Ability to convey a positive and professional image to Guests and Team Members.
  • Background in mechanical, electrical and computer operation is preferred.
  • Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test.
  • Must be able to obtain a valid gaming license.
  • Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
  • Must be able to communicate proficiently in English.

Physical Demands

  • Must be physically able to perform all job requirements.
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and occasionally more with assistance.

Work Environment

  • Must be able to work in a non-smoke free environment.
  • Must be able to work in a noisy environment.
  • Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays, and special events.
