To continue to build on our success, we are seeking a talented Senior Graphic Designer to join our Group Marketing Team in our Corporate Head Office in Newcastle, NSW. You will work within a dynamic and collaborative team environment, where our passionate and experienced team work across all Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, Digital and social environments.
Role
This Senior Graphic Designer works closely with the Brand Marketing Manager and the wider Graphic Design team, reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and is part of the NEX Marketing team. The key focus of this role will be creating and developing innovative visual materials including logo’s, flyers, brochures, signage, traditional and digital advertisements. More specifically, you will:

Role
This Senior Graphic Designer works closely with the Brand Marketing Manager and the wider Graphic Design team, reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and is part of the NEX Marketing team. The key focus of this role will be creating and developing innovative visual materials including logo’s, flyers, brochures, signage, traditional and digital advertisements. More specifically, you will:
- Develop and design complex and engaging marketing items such as brand collateral and multimedia interactive presentations
- Enhance and elevate still imagery via Photoshop
- Coordinate end to end visual communication material from the brief through to the finished product utilising a range of programs
- Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders while providing a high level of customer service.
- Participate as an active mentor and work in collaboration with the Marketing Team to ensure agreed deadlines are achieved
- Confirming job briefs, interpreting and defining design requirements to exceed stakeholder and customer expectations
- Demonstrate and maintain design innovation whilst ensuring a strong attention to detail and high level of oral and written communication skills.
- Contribute to website design, and creation of specific landing pages

- Demonstrate the ability to create and communicate ideas that inspire, inform and captivate customers
- Have completed a Diploma in Graphic Design
- Knowledge of a range of platforms with advanced InDesign and Adobe skills
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bring self-confidence and a willingness to collaborate with stakeholders and the ability to build solid long-term relationships cross functionally
- Demonstrate curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset
