About the Role
Are you a master of coordination with a passion for training and development?
DDH1 Drilling is on the lookout for a proactive and organised Training coordinator to keep our crews skilled, safe and site ready.
As the Training Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and coordinating training schedules, managing training assets, and ensuring the highest standards of training delivery and compliance. You will work closely with various Stakeholders to continuously enhance our training programs, training systems and processes.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Facilitate the booking of new starter onboarding and delivery of Inductions
- Facilitate retraining and refresher training bookings for compliance with skills matrix requirements, including researching and reviewing Training providers in all States
- Track and monitor VOC compliance.
- Create new starter records in Learning Management System-INX
- Managing INX and supporting the business on training records
- Process enrolments of and send advice to new starters for Inductions modules, managing timely completion of modules prior to mobilisation
- Manage training inbox and all training enquiries including incentive claims
- Facilitate drilling certificate training enrolments with RTO’s and Government agencies.
- Storing of training certificates and documentation in line with company processes, including follow-up with Training providers
- Maintain and monitor records of student enrolment to Drilling Certificate with relevant Govt Authority and Registered Training Organisations (RTOs), including the Staff Training Booking Register.
- Processing of Funding claims with State and Federal Government Authorities and agencies
- Receiving and saving training contracts via the ADMS portal
- Attending to DTWD for contract extensions and terminations
- Maintain a register of approved training providers
- Verification of certificate, licences, and competencies with Training providers, for inclusion into Skills Matrix (LMS)
You will have:
- Cert IV in Training and Assessment-desirable
- INX experience would be an advantage
- Previous experience in a similar role - mandatory
- Ability to manage changing priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft package, including Excel Intermediate, MS Word Intermediate and Outlook.
- Team Player with a positive can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
- Must be reliable with exceptional time management and a self starter
- Build rapport with colleagues, field staff and external stakeholders
