Operations Coordinator

The Opportunity

We are seeking a proactive, reliable and organised individual to join our team as an Operations Coordinator.

This role is a key role in supporting the dynamic and friendly team, assisting to deliver exceptional service to our customers and clients and keeping our drivers busy and safe.

Day to day this role involves the overall operations coordination of the Rockhampton branch, including scheduling driver and sub-contractor runs, pickups and deliveries, customer service, general administration IE: processing run sheets, emails and scheduling vehicle services and supporting the team in all administration tasks.

What you'll be responsible for

• Ensuring all data entered for invoicing and reporting
• Driver supervision and management
• Scheduling daily runs, coordinating pickups and deliveries
• Processing runsheets and waste certificates
• Performing general administrative tasks; scanning and filing paperwork
• Monitoring driver fatigue and safety
• Liaising with workshop and manager regarding vehicle breakdowns and defects.
• Meeting customer demands and expectations
  

What you'll need to be successful

• Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Sheets
• Be reliable, with a can do attitude and a willingness to learn
• People, relationship and communication skills
• Ability to work accurately with a strong attention to detail
• Previous supervisor or operations experience is desirable but not required
