- The purpose of the role is to provide efficient and effective linen service duties, including production and distribution of linen-to-Linen Service clients, achieving efficiency whilst maintaining a safe work environment and delivering a balanced workflow that will meet our customer requirements.
What you'll do
You will:
Assist with the performance appraisals and development of staff.
Provide ethical decision making in the achievement of organisational objectives.
Ensure staff adhere to workplace health and safety work rotation and staff breaks.
Possess good technical skills of laundry equipment, operation, and cleaning.
Liaise with Management on staffing and maintenance issues.
Ensure that productivity targets are met.
About you
We are searching for someone who has:
Demonstrated ability to effectively use automated machinery and some computerised equipment.
Ability to develop collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders and team members and ability to effectively communicate and influence staff.
This is a manual handling position requiring you to :
repetitively handle laundry items
feed linen into machines
handle linen items
sort soiled linen.
