Your Team
The Supplier Governance Team is part of CFS’s Procurement and Supplier Governance Team within the broader Finance and Fund Services (F&FS) division.
The Manager, Supplier Governance is accountable for onboarding and offboarding suppliers by providing the administration, maintenance and reporting of information relating to suppliers of CFS and the monitoring and oversight to the CFS Procurement and Outsourcing Policy and Standard to ensure critical suppliers are managed in accordance with regulatory obligations, internal risk management requirements, contractual obligations and with service performance that meets the operational needs of the business teams. The role reports to the Senior Manager, Supplier Governance and will be part of a broader Procurement team of 13 who will establish effective working relationships with the following:
- Executive Directors across CFS
- Risk Domain experts (Cyber, Technology risk, Financial Crimes etc.)
- Business Owners and stakeholders External partners as required
You will also be required to build key relationships with senior leaders and accountable business owners as you help to embed key strategic arrangements into our organisation.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead risk assessments and mitigation strategies for new and existing suppliers, ensuring timely issue escalation and resolution.
- Deliver SME knowledge and guidance to stakeholders, overseeing the obligations and performance reporting of Material Service Providers to ensure compliance to regulatory and Policy guidelines.
- Monitor supplier compliance, produce regular reports, and support informed decision-making through accurate data and insights.
- Participate in governance meetings and ensure supplier obligations align with regulatory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement in supplier governance and service level management through stakeholder collaboration. Maintain up to date knowledge of regulatory trends and contribute to the evolution of the third-party risk management program
Your Capability and Experience
- Experience managing end-to-end third party or supplier lifecycle processes including risk qualification, assessment and management
- Experience in reporting and analysis of supplier performance management
- Risk Mindset to proactively identify and understand, openly discuss and act on current and future risks
- Previous experience in a large professional corporate environment dealing with complex organisational structures and processes Management of CPS 230 / SPS 231 and outsourced third parties
