OT Identity Specialist – 12-Month Contract | Brisbane or Remote (From NSW/VIC)

We are seeking an experienced OT Identity Specialist for a 12-month contract opportunity based in Brisbane, with flexibility for remote work from NSW or Victoria

.

This hands-on yet strategically focused role is responsible for the practical implementation, configuration, and management of identity technologies within an Operational Technology (OT) environment. You’ll play a key part in shaping and executing the identity strategy, working closely with internal teams and implementation partners to deliver robust and secure identity solutions

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, engineer, and integrate identity platforms including IGA and IAM technologies
• Design and implement identity services and infrastructure to align with operational and security objectives
• Collaborate with senior security architects to define and develop identity roadmaps
• Lead the technical delivery and configuration of identity platforms, engaging with vendors and project stakeholders
• Troubleshoot, fine-tune, and optimize identity solutions to support continuous improvement
• Contribute to the development and refinement of the OT identity operating model

Experience required

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in identity and access management as an architect, engineer, or technical lead
• Proven expertise with Microsoft Active Directory and identity technologies like SailPoint IdentityIQ, Microsoft Entra ID, RSA, Entrust, or Ping Identity
• Experience aligning identity solutions with compliance and security standards such as NIST, ASD ISM, Essential 8, and SOCI
• Act.Strong communication skills and the ability to provide technical leadership in a collaborative team environment
• Experience working in the utilities sector is highly desirable

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry certifications such as SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Associate/Engineer, IAM, or security-focused credentials
• Familiarity with IEC 62443, SCADA systems, Linux, and Windows environments
• Ability to consult on secure systems architecture and engage effectively with security vendors
