The TechnicalDelivery Lead is responsible for guiding the development of technology products and services and overseeing a team of technical designers, developers, testers, and deployers. This role is the primary contact that manages the delivery of Technology solutions consistent with established standards, practices, and templates, in support of the strategic direction of the RACQ Group.

The role involves identifying, acquiring, and utilising the necessary Technology resources and skills to successfully deliver project Technology solutions within agreed parameters of cost, time, and scope (quality). The role actively contributes to process improvement initiatives related to improving Technology project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the delivery of Technology solutions, ensuring alignment with project requirements, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Lead and manage the Technology Delivery Team, including staff, 3rd parties, and contractors, to effectively deliver project outcomes.
  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to define, estimate, and plan technology work packages.
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, escalating to the Project Manager and Manager Technology Portfolio when necessary.
  • Ensure the effective use of the RACQ Technology Portfolio Delivery Manual (TPDM) and promote the adoption of standardised procedures, practices, and tools.
  • Monitor and control project costs, resources, and vendor performance against the Solution Delivery Plan.

Key Capabilities

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience working collaboratively with a Project Manager, and delivering a technology component of a larger initiative.
  • Previous experience delivering technology solutions in a large integrated environment.
  • Previous experience planning and co-ordinating technology resources balanced against operational needs.
  • Previous experience co-ordinating and delivering technology-related work packages in an Agile/SDLC environment.
  • Previous experience influencing virtual teams including 3rd parties and contractors.
  • Demonstrated high level of skill in communicating with the business, management, end-users, and technology personnel.
  • Demonstrated skill in developing clear objectives and establishing work priorities and timeframes.
  • Demonstrated high level of skill in technology solutioning and solution delivery.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
