The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Coordinator to join our global Knowledge & Expertise team, to support the team's delivery of two key pillars for the APAC region:

  • A cross-practice legal learning programme, aimed at uplifting the capabilities of Ashurst lawyers across the APAC region, and;
  • Strengthening central coordination of expertise lawyers and enhancing the model for expertise administration across Ashurst.

This role can be based at our Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney offices.

The Knowledge & Expertise Coordinator's responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating internal legal learning programmes, and supporting the delivery of internal legal learning events
  • Learning Management System (LMS) management, transition and maintenance
  • Maintaining expertise data, including lawyer and expertise partner directories and maintaining annual data on expertise coverage
  • Providing administrative support for stakeholder meetings chaired by the APAC Head of Expertise & Legal Learning

We are interested in hearing from people who have:

  • Prior relevant experience in a training coordination role in a law firm or professional services environment
  • Excellent project coordination and organisational skills, coupled with strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including a demonstrated ability to communicate successfully with all levels of stakeholders
  • A proactive and "can-do" attitude, with the ability to work autonomously or within a team
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft suite including Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with document management systems, learning management systems and hosting Zoom webinars
