Nestled in the heart of Brisbane’s CBD, InterContinental Hotel Brisbane will open to guests this winter, offering 321 spacious hotel rooms and suites, all day dining restaurant and lobby bar, outdoor pool, fitness centre and Club Lounge, all in a prime location above Queen Street Mall, perfect for exploring the city’s top attractions. With over 1800 square metres of meeting and events spaces, InterContinental Brisbane offers versatile function rooms and a Grand Ballroom catering for up to 1000 guests, making it a great choice for business and leisure events alike.
The moment a guest steps into one of our hotels, they walk into a genuinely memorable experience. As part of our Kitchen team, you’ll deliver this from the outset, delivering an exceptional dining experience that makes our guests and visitors alike, want to return time and again.
We’re looking to build our Kitchen team, catering to our All-Day Dining restaurant, Lobby Lounge, Event Operations and In-Room Dining. We are now looking for people with a passion for presentation, dedication to flavour and commitment to setting high standards from workspace to table and beyond, across the following roles:

- Chef de Partie, Full-time, Part-time
- Demi Chef de Partie, Full-time, Part-time
- Commis Chef, Full-time, Part-time
- Cook, Part-time, Casual
- Stewarding Supervisor, Full-time
- Steward, Part-time, Casual
- Trade Industry Qualification or completion of Commercial Cookery Qualification
- Relevant experience in a similar role
- The flexibility to work night, weekend and public holiday shifts
- Self-motivated, driven and energized in a fast-paced environment
- Great communication – you’ll be warm, welcoming and easy to talk to
