About The Company & Role

Our client is a market leader within their industry experiencing strong business growth. As they continue to scale and promote internally, they are seeking a Finance Analyst with manufacturing and inventory experience to join their finance team and play a key role in financial strategy and cost control. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in manufacturing, operational, costing and inventory analysis who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with site teams and cross-functional stakeholders to provide meaningful financial support that influences day-to-day operational decisions.
  • Monitor and interpret cost behaviours across production and logistics, identifying patterns and recommending practical ways to enhance efficiency and reduce spend.
  • Play a key role in preparing financial models and business cases to evaluate the impact of improvement projects.
  • Deliver insightful analysis and financial narratives to support strategic planning and highlight areas for performance uplift.
  • Take part in month-end close activities, including variance analysis, forecasts, and risk reviews, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Assist with broader national finance processes by contributing to raw material costing reviews, overhead allocations, and margin tracking.

Skills And Experience

  • A degree in Accounting or equivalent.
  • CA or CPA qualifications (or working towards).
  • 3 years of experience in working within the manufacturing with inventory and standard costing is a must.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of costing, inventory, and financial controls.
  • Advanced Excel skills (mandatory); experience with Tableau or Power BI is desirable.
