About the opportunity
The Accounts Receivable Team Leader is a key member of the shared services finance team and provides leadership to the accounts receivable team. Reporting to the Accounting Shared Services Manager the focus of this role is to manage the daily operations of the accounts receivable team as well as provide leadership and guidance to the team. About the opportunity
The Accounts Receivable Team Leader is a key member of the shared services finance team and provides leadership to the accounts receivable team. Reporting to the Accounting Shared Services Manager the focus of this role is to manage the daily operations of the accounts receivable team as well as provide leadership and guidance to the team. More specifically, you will:
- Manage AR operations and provide effective leadership and guidance as an escalation point for team members to effectively resolve a range of AR related issues
- Oversee debtors follow ups in accordance with schedules, and quality AR processes including consistent, accurate and timely status updates HUB
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key business stakeholders, customers, partners, suppliers, and team members
- Identify efficiencies and improvements so that processing timelines with accurate invoicing goals are achieved
- Model best approaches to calmly, professionally and proactively address and resolve complaints and other issues
- Ensure compliance in all areas, including J-SOX (Financial Instruments and Exchange Act of 2006), and other policies and procedures
- Work with the Accounting Shared Services Manager to continually seek opportunities to improve AR processes, optimise technology and customer experience

- Previous Accounts Receivable experience
- A leadership style that is supportive, encouraging and focussed on continuous improvement for yourself, the team and the business
- Confidence in your ability to effectively manage workflow/processes and provide leadership to a team
- Strong analytical, problem solving and data analysis skills with a high degree of accuracy
- Effective interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent attention to detail, administrative and procedural skills
