The project - Mulgoa

 

Mulgoa Road Alliance will deliver improvements to road safety and the M4 exit ramps, as part of the Mulgoa Road stage 1 upgrade between Jeanette Street to Blaikie Road in Penrith, Sydney. The main access route from Penrith to the M4 Motorway in Sydney’s west - will undergo a major enhancement as part of a 6.5-kilometre road corridor upgrade to connect the Penrith community, including its central business district, with other parts of greater Sydney.

 

As Project Engineer - Utilities, you will coordinate site construction engineering functions to achieve project objectives for water supply, electricity, gas, telecommunications, drainage, and sewerage systems. You will demonstrate abilities with preparation of contractual claims and variations, and knowledge of head and subcontract agreements.

 

About the role:

 

  • Undertake all HSEQ responsibilities as identified for your role in the Project’s Management Plans and associated documents.
  • Undertake cost, revenue and productivity tracking and reporting functions, including utilising relevant administrative tools, such as Envision, Expert, etc.
  • Assist with the preparation of site construction forecasts and reports.
  • Management of company workforce and specific trades, technicians, site supervisors and contractors. Assign work and assist with reviews for accuracy and adherence to required standards.
  • Manage and develop direct reports, including regular monitoring and reviewing of their performance and coaching/mentoring in construction/system requirements.
