As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and comprehensive records and ensuring that our client's information is up to date. Serving as a trusted resource for our clients, you will answer their queries and offer valuable insights into their financial data. Manage a variety of bookkeeping tasks and provide back up support on administration tasks, contributing to a collaborative culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing account payments;
- Perform monthly account reconciliations;
- Regularly perform bank reconciliations;
- Assist with Instalment Activity Statements (IAS) and Business Activity Statements (BAS);
- Data entry and management;
- Maintenance of computer-based administration file;
- Maintenance of client files;
- Processing and lodging Superannuation
- Payroll
- Support and mentor junior bookkeeping staff
- 3+ years in a similar role
- Proficient in Xero
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proven ability to effectively engage with clients and foster strong relationships
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team
- Intermediate / advance experience with Microsoft Office packages
